All documents published on this website must be approved through one of the site established approval committees.
Approval process and committees are listed below.
1A clinical support document has been identified for review or creation
Once a document has been identified for review or creation, the C&W Policy Office must be contacted for:
- Document requirements
- The formatted template
- The policy approval form
- Identification of related approval body
2The document has been reviewed/created
Upon completion of the document's review/creation, the policy approval form must be completed and submitted with the document to the C&W Policy Office. The document will then be shared with the appropriate Committee for review and approval.
It is required that submitters’ attend the meeting in person to answer questions and respond to suggested edits.
Approval meetings for documents are usually held monthly. Contact the Policy Office of dates and times as these vary.
3The document has been approved
Once the document has been approved by the appropriate committee, the document will be reviewed and formatted again by the C&W Policy Office to ensure that all standards are met. The document will then be uploaded to this website for access by all staff.
Note: Some documents may require an educational roll-out plan for staff. This will be determined by the Committee and further instructions will be provided as required.
